Week Six. This week we join Jarvis enjoying a port call at Adak, Alaska while on Alaskan patrol.

MK2 Farmer from Akron, OH, FN Shaffer from Ceder Crest, NM, FN Scott from Lompoc CA, FN Fairburn from Austin, TX, and in the top right FN Minutola from Maryland. During a casualty to the #2 main diesel engine, these crewmembers helped remove the upper crankshaft to inspect the damage. Through a hard days work the crew keeps thier morale high while celebrating independence day.

Three Helo tiedown members ,SN Pellegrino, SN Kelly, and SN Chomicki, hook up a vertical replenishment pendant weighing between 150 and 200 pounds beneath the roaring blades of an HH65 Dolphin. AMT1 Giuntoli hangs out of the helicopter as a safety observer and load expert.
