I hope to eventually have a full collection showing day-to-day life aboard all types of Coast Guard Units. This can only be accomplished with your help. Grab a camera, take a walk, and photograph the up-close and personal activities of your shipmates. Email me for photo transfer instructions when you have completed your photo essay modeled on the photo essay below.

Welcome Aboard The CGC Healy

Ahoy and welcome aboard as we join the crew of the Cutter Healy as she sits in the ice approximately 100 miles north of Barrow, Alaska. Haley has been underway on her present deployment, Arctic West East Summer (AWES) 2005, for several weeks. Through reprints from the Cutter Healy's website* and weekly updates from Public Affairs Speciaist Second Class NyxoLyno "Nick" Cangemi, we will "tag along" with the Captain, Officers, and crew.

All photos are credited: U.S. Coast Guard photograph by Petty Officer Second Class NyxoLyno Cangemi.*
