PA2 Lisa Marie Hennings born and raised in Pine Bush, NY. Attended Butler University, Indiana on a full athletic scholarship for cross-country track. Graduated 1999 with a b.s. in history education and minor in sociology. Enlisted in USCG September 2001. Presently assigned to the Public Affairs Office, First CG District Boston, MA. Previous assignments include CAMSLANT and Fifth CG District Office.
Lisa is TAD aboard Cutter Escanaba and providing us with weekly updates of photos and reports.
When she returns from this assignment, she will be leaving Active Duty. She intends to remain in the Reserves while attending grad school full-time for a master's in English.
